Greg Grunberg is on the USS Enterprise Crew

4 Comments 19 March 2007

According to MovieHole.com, Greg Grunberg will be joining new Star Trek crew. His role hasn’t been revealed yet, however I think that, we’ll see him as a good guy,.. Maybe a space-ship pilot, who’ll be eaten by a mysterious monster in an undiscovered galaxy.

I knew as soon as J.J Abrams got aboard the new “Star Trek pic that he’d be wanting to bring a few old friends with him – it was a no-brainer that Greg Grunberg, who has appeared in everything Abrams’ has done (including his honeymoon video), would snag a role; though to date, it hasn’t been revealed who the “Heroes star will play, just that he will play someone – its just been a matter of trying to ‘which friends’ and for ‘which parts’?

Sylar wants to be Spock

SylarZachary Quinto, Gabriel “Sylar” Gray” talked to Courier News, he doesn’t reveal any details about Sylar.

When Horn Rimmed Glasses (aka Claire’s dad) gets me in captivity, he’s kind of merciless in trying to get at the root of what I’m doing and why I’m doing what I’m doing,” Quinto said of Sylar’s Lecter-like incarceration. “You really see (Sylar’s) anger, the darkness that comes out. I don’t like being in captivity, and I don’t like being overpowered.”

Most interesting thing is, he really wants to be Spock in new Star Trek movie, which produced by J.J. Abrahms. I think he should talk with Hiro’s father about this.

J.J. Abrahm’s favourite actor, answers all the questions about Heroes and the most remarkable Villian “Sylar”…

TVGuide.com: First, I have to say: Would that every husband could read their wives’ minds!
Greg Grunberg:
Yeah, but be careful what you wish for. You immediately think, “Oh, man, I want to hear what everybody thinks,” and the truth is that what people really think of you is not something that you would ever want to know.

Greg as Matt Parkman TVGuide.com: We just saw more of that when Matt read some of his wife’s thoughts that he probably wishes he hadn’t.
Grunberg: Yeah, it’s interesting how they’re doing this. I love that the show is so character-based and is in its infancy, when these characters are actually finding their powers. People really identify with this. People tell me, “I can really connect with your character,” because there’s an emotional connection to his ability, unlike the others. Flying, sure, you can go from here to there. But reading minds, when you really think about it, is kind of creepy.
