What will happen next on Lost, if Heroes escape to the Island?

We’re big fans of Heroes, but we also love Lost and looking forward to Season 5. Benny and Rafi Fine produced great series of webisodes for Lost with using different action figures on each episode. This time, they’re using Claire, Sylar, Matt Parkman and Mohinder.

We are Benny & Rafi Fine; one of the most popular filmmakers on the web, and creators of one of it’s most popular web series called “LOST: What Will Happen Next?” (a parody of the real LOST TV show that is coming back for a 5th season this Wednesday). The first season of our series was such a huge success (over 4 million views!) that the comedy company “Just For Laughs” has come on board to help us bring a brand new season to the world.

Every episode, various action figures show up on the island and cause havoc, and to start our new season off with a bang, Claire, Mohinder, Sylar and Parkman appear in this episode (Claire and Mohindor will actually be in every episode from now on).

We think fans of your site will love our show and it would be great if you could help us out by featuring it (not to mention we are huge fans of Heroes and would be cool to be featured on your site).

You can watch all the episodes on The Fine Brothers Channel.

The Five Year Plan
Unlike other heroinarratives, like LOST, which have begun to meander, the Heroes gang has a five year plan. “We’ve thought about seasons 1-5 and how we might arc them,” said series creator Tim Kring. The creators explained that both specific and general story arcs have been considered far in advance. This week’s reveal of Nathan Petrelli being Claire’s father, for example, has been planned since day one.

Heroes vs. Lost

Heroes vs. Lost

Jason Matthews, from TheJay.com, compare two greatest show on TV side by side.

When the pitch on Heroes first crossed media lines, the buzz was unkind. It was immediately deemed a Lost rip off, which at the time seemed spot on. The two shows have a lot more in common than you might suspect.
They both have:

  • A plot revolving around a group of strangers coming together to figure out how to cope with their new situation in life.
  • A one-named title with a double meaning
  • A multi-racial, multi-ethnic cast of beautiful people.
  • A slew of the same type of characters: self-righteous male lead, mysterious older white guy that has all the answers, resident slamming hottie, seemingly unnecessary blonde bombshell, middle eastern guy with emotional baggage, Asian couple with translation problems, kid with special powers and a bad dad, long-haired bearded rebels and of course, an all-important set of numbers.

He wrote about all of characters but the number stuff is greatest!

More Interesting Set of Numbers
Lost has “4 8 15 16 23 42″, a set of numbers I could care less about, despite how powerful Hurley, Locke or Damon Lindelof would like me to believe they are. On the other hand, Heroes has “8/21/07â€? the date of Hayden Panettiere’s 18th birthday, which is a set of numbers I’m sure we can all agree are far more exciting.
Advantage: Heroes

Does “Heroes” really kick “Lost”s Ass?

Heroes kicks Lost Ass

Giant Magazine’s writer Scott Stein thinks that, “Heroes” kicks “Lost”s Ass.

You’re beaten at your own game, ABC: it’s no surprise that series creator Tim Kring consulted with friend and Lost writer Damon Lindelof before embarking on his X-Men meets X-Files enterprise for NBC. Hip-deep in November, Heroes is by far the better show than Lost. It’s not even closeand this is coming from a full-on (and starting to become former) Lost addict. How? Let us count the ways:
