Hollywood Reporter gives us a clue about Masi Oka’s big screen experience! He is currently in talks to play a role in the film inspired by the story of a group of men who learned the art of card counting and won millions of dollars gambling. The movie is based on Ben Mezrich’s best-seller “Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six M.I.T. Students Who Took Vegas for Millions.”

After Writers Guild of America, HFPA – Hollywood Foreign Press Association- announced 64th Golden Globe nominees. NBC got 9 nominations, Heroes got credits for 2 of them.
BEST TELEVISION SERIES – DRAMA
And our lovely Hiro nominated for “BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE IN A SERIES, MINI-SERIES OR MOTION PICTURE MADE FOR TELEVISION”.
It’ll be very hard to get for Masi, Jeremy Irons and Thomas Hayden Church are clearly favorites for this award..

Our geeky japanese guy talked with Susan Stewart fron NYTimes. He mention about his previous jobs, his high-IQ and ofcourse Hiro Nakamura.
“Hiro is a kid,” Oka said. “He’s the kid that we all once were. He has to lose his innocence and naivete as he grows in the show.”
“My agent read the script and said, My God, I’ve found the role,’” Oka said. “I mean, how many actors are fluent in Japanese, well-trained in comedy and have abundant American TV experience? I felt pretty good going in. I felt like, wow, my niche market. It was like, if this isn’t it, what is?”
It seems everyone talks about his high-IQ on these days.
Masi, Hayden, Ali and Sendhil were guests on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, December 4. Unfortunately Ellen didn’t even know their names. However it’s worth to watch for Hayden and Ali… Ok maybe for Masi too..
One of Monday nights at January will be full with Masi Oka. He’s gonna host NBC’s after-Heroes-show Studio 60 on Sunset Strip, and he shoots his scenes tomorrow.
I guess, the face of Hiro Nakamura shines brighter than ever at NBC, and NBC is using his last-shots to save Studio 60 from being cancelled..
Ok, at least they interviewed someone other than [tag]Masi Oka[/tag], our lovely cheerleader talked to newsday.com. It’s about Haydens new movie “The Architect” but she’s still our Claire.
Have you ever felt as awkward as the young teenage girl you play in “The Architect”?
Hayden : Her whole thing is that she’s not comfortable with this new developing body, with who she is. In that first scene, she stands there [in front of a mirror] and looks at herself in a bathing suit. I remember doing that sort of thing [trying on clothes] and thinking, “Ohhh, do I look OK?” But as you get older, you become a lot more comfortable in your own skin.
Now, of course, you’ve gone from girl who once felt awkward to star of a megahit television series.
Hayden : Not a bad transition. “Heroes” is an amazing show. Everyone is really surprised about it. There are so many obstacles to even get a show on television, let alone a huge hit.

Q: You’re one of the few breakout stars of the new TV season. How is life different?
A: It’s so surreal. I used to be able to go out for dinner and be completely alone. Now, not so much. I get asked by people to pose for photos a lot. I’m starting to feel like the big Goofy character in Disneyland.
Q: Speaking of goofy, there has been plenty of Internet chatter among women who think you’re so adorable that they want to cuddle with you. What do you make of that?
A: Some friends recently sent me a post they found from a woman who was saying she wanted to make me her pet. She wrote that she wanted to “put me in a cage to keep and kiss me and love me.”
Q: What was your reaction?
A: As long as she feeds me, I’m totally game.
