Brooklyn, NY: Mohinder arrives home to find Maya and Sylar, who tells him they need his help. Mohinder learns Sylar’s powers are gone, he tries to kill him with a knife, but Sylar has a gun and stops him. Sylar wants the cure because he got the virus. Maya realizes Sylar lied to her and starts using her ability. They all start getting blackened eyes, even Molly that comes out of her room, screaming. Then Maya stops her power. Mohinder says he will help them.

Manhattan, NY: Angela had been released from jail. Matt tells her Adam and Peter murdered Victoria. She says 30 years ago she helped Adam, then she realized she was wrong. Angela then says Adam wants to release the virus in Odessa. and to Matt in a thought that if they can’t stop Peter, shoot him in the head.

White Beard’s camp, Japan, 1671: Hiro, Yaeko and the swordsmith is held captive. Hiro is above some boiling opium, dazed and cannot use his power due to it. Kensei tells Yaeko he will get half of the country as a reward from White Beard and her as his Princess.

Odessa, Ukraine: Bennet takes photos of the paintings and phones Mohinder if he got a Company related gun, he tells he didn’t get any gun and there’s a problem because of his new partner watches him. Then Bennet burns all the paintings. Meanwhile, at the Facility of the Company, Bob evacuates the building because Matt and Nathan came there to warn him.

The show kicks off with a relieved Hiro and Ando on a rooftop back in the present time. Hiro then stands on the railing and shouts “Don’t worry New York, we will save you!”

Flash to the Petrelli residence, where Peter is sketching the aftermath of the bomb. Claire comes out of a room at the top of the stairs as Nathan walks by holding his two sons. Peter glances up to see Claire, and goes upstairs to talk to her. Mama Petrelli is helping Claire pack, Peter goes in and asks to talk to Claire. Mama Petrelli leaves the room and Peter tells Claire that she can not leave because she has to save the world. A confused and distraught Claire claims that this is all a fantasty. Peter tells her about the bomb, saying that he will go nuclear. “Nuclear?? Like Ted?” Claire askes.

Our beloved Heroes returns with a brief “Previously on Heroes” scene told by Mr. Linderman himself and, paintings that Isaac has done through out the season.

The story starts at Primatech Paper Company, where Matt Parkman, Mr. Bennet and Ted “Radioactive Man” are held by Candice and Thompson as prisoners while waiting the order to kill them. Candice tries to get to Bennet by becoming Claire, but he knows that she’s not his daughter. Bennet tries to communicate with Matt telepathically and helps him escape from his cell and then rescue Ted. While Matt tries to convience Ted, the alarms go off. Bennet explaines Matt about EMP (electromagnetic pulse), which Ted can do by “not burning hot but, burning bright”. The plan works, but this time they try to decide whether to take Bennet with them or not if they want to take Primatech down. They get him and all three of them escape from the building.
