Yeah I saw DL, but I believe this is just the illusion created by the nightmare man. I also noticed that the one of the series of 8 paintings (where there were 2 men sort of like in a cell with a logo on the left-bottom corner) was actually Peter & someone standing inside a room with the sticker that says “Biohazards”. It is probably Peter being held in a quarantine room.

BTW, anyone knows who “Adam Monroe” is? Is he one of the founders of The Company?

Sonny, note that Hiro said that his kiss created a rift, which is certainly possible. Remember, Future Hiro never mentioned Adam nor the virus that kills 93% of the population. Something changed.

According to the legend, Kensei as a savage who was civilized and taught about his abilities (with sword fighting replacing immortality). When Whitebeard was defeated, the dragon (Hiro) asked for the princess (likely saying that he would tell her the truth), but Kensei, now a true hero after going through so many trials chose to give up his life rather than lose the princess. The dragon (Hiro) was moved to sympathy and put back Kensei’s heart and chose to honor his friend though giving up the princess. Kensei was not said to harbor any ill will towards the dragon and reigned in justice with the princess who fell in love with the one and only hero that saved her father and defeated Whitebeard.

Now consider this timeline. With the kiss and stopping time, he showed the princess that Kensei was a fraud (in her eyes) and that she loved Hiro, not Kensei. Kensei is now betrayed by his supposed best friend, and nothing Hiro can say will change that. He might defeat Whitebeard, but it’d be to win the princess’s life back, and spite for Hiro, not heroism. He’ll start distrusting people close to him and be a darker person than he otherwise would be. Dark enough to be the cause of the 93% deadly virus to be released. So my theory is that Kensei is Adam (the first evolved human, that likely spread his seed over the generations and is the source of all other evolved humans).

I fully expect than when Hiro returns, the Kensei legend will have changed.

Can someone compare the second vid at 11secs to the 5th painting?

At the end of episode 6, when Peter and Caitin are in that building in Montreal - aren’t those flags in the room from the Kensei story? What about the samurai suit on the shelf to the right as they walk through the door??? Wow the Kensei story really kicked up a notch - about time!

Peter really needs to get a grasp of his powers. The stories will flow much better. Like when hes being held back by them people and screaming for caitlin, he could just own all them guys in one swift blow lol. Would be much more interesting to see that. It would be good to see him reunited with Nathan, also to see him vs the nightmare man.

This was a fairly interesting episode which pretty much set up the “who” and “what” of this season. We learned, by looking at the paintings, that the mutated virus the company is producing will do exactly what Seresh told Bob…cross over and spread to the general population. This became even more evident when Peter jumped to the future (using Hiro’s ability) and saw that there was an evacuation order to avoid contracting a virus.
I don’t think we are going to see Hiro in the 21st century any more in this season and perhaps never again as he might be taking Kenseis place in history. While it was stupid of Hiro to have given into his desires forYaeko who could blame him? In the paintings that were found in the warehouse we saw that Hiro was fighting Kensei. This will most likely lead to 2 ultimate endings. First, Hiro will kill Kensei and take his place as the famous Kensei in history or second, he’ll somehow show kensei (or get killed by Kensei) that he needs to be the hero and save the future. Either one is possible…we just know that they fight each other.
There were some other interesting paintings as well. If you look closely I don’t think that it is going to be West who kills HRG…it would appear to be an unkown. There was another painting of what appeared to be Niki banging on some sort of door…it will be interesting to see what she is really trying to do in that picture. There is a picture that appears to be of Claire when she died on the steps faking out the cheerleader, so that painting would be done and over with (painting 3, perhaps?) and then there was one that really caught my eye. There was a painting with a biohazard sign in it and a couple of people that looked fairly surprised. Anyway, it looks pretty clear that our dear hero Peter Petrelli has his work cut out for him and that he is going to have to pull some pretty amazing stunts to save the world this time (just as a joke, maybe he will infect himself with the virus in hopes that his cells will regenerate and find a cure before it kills him).

ok yeah we all know adam munroe is Kensi, well not offically but its been spoiled…. and peter teams up with him… they fight hero but peter soon realises he’s in the wrong a swaps sides.

Yeah it has to be an Illusion because if you see Niki Stike a punch and at a another view… it Becomes D.L!..
