Another new female Hero and some Spoilers..

Traditional Wednesday News from Ausiello, first thing is first..

Missy Peregrym

We have an another female hero. Yep, She’s not Jessalyn Gilsig or Stana Katic, and probably she’ll be “the most beautiful thing” in Heroes. Missy Peregrym casted as Faith -not Buffy the Vampire Slayer Faith- , who is a temptress with a “great sex appeal”..

Although unconfirmed by NBC, multiple sources confirm that the Stick It actress has been cast as Faith, a female temptress who, according to an earlier casting breakdown, “wields a tremendous amount of sex appeal” and is willing to “get her hands dirty” for her employer. Peregrym will first appear in Episode 18, likely airing in April. In the meantime, if you’re dying to know what special power Faith will possess, check out tomorrow’s Ask Ausiello for a clue wrapped inside an asterisk quiz. I know how you guys love those.

Here’s the “Ask Ausiello” spoilers..

Question: I watched the Heroes pilot again after Tim Kring told you someone from the opening minutes would soon die. Well, in the first 10 minutes, the main people are Mohinder, Peter, Simone, H.R.G., Niki/Jessica, Micah, Claire and Zach. I’m putting money on Simone or H.R.G. only because we saw Peter die, and that’s too easy. Any odds?â€â€? Andrew

Ausiello: I can confirm that it’s definitely one of the nine you listed. Actually, make that eight. We can rule out Zach (see below for more on that).

Question: How much longer is the character of Zach going to be on Heroes? When he was mind-wiped and forgot his friendship with Claire, it seemed like a natural opportunity for producers to resolve his story line and rid themselves of a problem actor. So I was disappointed when I tuned in to the Jan. 22 episode and saw actor Isaiah Wash â€â€? oops, I mean Thomas Dekker â€â€? still under their employ. Is Zach going to officially “come out” as straight on the show, or will his orientation remain a mystery until he leaves for his sure-to-be-canceled Terminator series on Fox?â€â€? John
Ausiello: Get this: Monday’s episode was Dekker’s â€â€? and Zach’s â€â€? last. And let’s not be so quick to blame Dekker. As I was recently made aware, his manager was one of several forces conspiring to “straighten up” Zach (one of which is very high up).

I’ve missed a few episiodes due to employment scheduling, computer unavaiability and no vcr/dvd hookup. But I’ve only missed a few recently.

This week I was able to sit down and absorb a whole episode. The writers are absolutely amazing. Chain reactions, events set in motion, the ripple effect, focus is drawn to one and importance played up as we are caught in the moment.
But it was true, it was important that Claire be saved so Peter could absorb her power of healing. He needed that power.
Claire did her part by being there. How much does this happen in life (w/o the super powers) and yet many times it goes unoticed?
